This summer 14 Connections members road tripped down to Memphis, Tennessee for the weekend. We visited historical and cultural sites such as, the National Civil Rights Museum, the Cotton Museum, and the Rock n’ Soul Museum. From slavery to current times, we learned about all aspects of live from the perspective of a diverse set up people and industries. This provided context for current events and prompted meaningful discussions.
